JYPN Ladder Award - Ashley
BringerThe Jonesboro
Young Professionals Network, an organization for
professionals age 21-39, creates
networking opportunities, provides professional development,
supports community involvement and promotes an overall
investment in the future of Jonesboro.
Featured in this issue are young
professional Ashley Bringer and her employer Steve Meredith
of Insurance Network, a division of BancorpSouth Insurance
Services.
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager,
Ashley interacts with customers and helps them ensure their
business is adequately covered. She’s learned that no two
insurance policies are the same and there are always
different challenges with each account.
Ashley decided to join JYPN after moving
back to Jonesboro after college. She wanted to do something
that would enable her to get more involved in the community,
meet respected individuals, and interact with people with
similar goals to hers. Ashley feels that JYPN includes all
of those opportunities.
When asked about benefits of JYPN, Ashley replied,
“Meeting people with different backgrounds, ideas, and
stature is definitely a benefit to anyone’s character. I
never would have been introduced to some of the people I’ve
met without JYPN, and I’ll always be thankful for that. I
think this organization has great potential to really impact
the community and young adults in this area.”
Insurance Network, a division of
BancorpSouth Insurance Services understand the concerns of
businesses and provides the analysis needed to make informed
decisions. Insurance Network has built longstanding
relationships by delivering solutions that pay real
dividends for their clients.
As a Commercial Broker, Steve Meredith
manages client’s risks and safety programs. By identifying
risks that could impact a client’s resiliency, he can help
reduce the cost while enhancing and protecting the welfare
of the client’s business.
Meredith encourages the young
professionals in his office to be involved in JYPN because
it is a great way for them to network and build
relationships in the community. He feels that JYPN benefits
them by providing an opportunity to participate in community
events that promote the city’s development and expansion. He
believes that this allows the members to work with current
leadership and be involved in the strategic planning of the
city’s future.
