JYPN Ladder Award - Autumn
Tubbs
The Ladder Award goes to the member of the JYPN who earns
the most points within the quarter. This month’s ladder
award recipient is
Autumn Tubbs, the
marketing director and sales coordinator for Tiger
Correctional Services.
TCS provides commissary, software and food services to
county jails nationally. Autumn is originally from
Jonesboro and has stayed here to be close to
family and friends. She says, “After traveling for both work
and fun, I can honestly say there is no place like
Jonesboro!”
Autumn joined JYPN in the fall of 2006 at the invitation of
a friend; she currently serves as president of the JYPN
board, on the board of the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of
Commerce, and on the professional development committee.
Autumn “believes that being involved in your community is
both a privilege and an obligation. In my opinion, the
Chamber and JYPN is the best way to do that.” Autumn cites
professors in the
College
of
Business at
Arkansas State
University as some of the
people who have influenced her the most professionally,
specifically Dr. Shane Hunt and Christy Valentine Browning.
She also worked for two people during college who taught her
a great deal, Brenda Dacus and Beth Smith.
Autumn advises other young professionals just beginning in
their careers to get involved, saying “you’ll never know who
you will meet!” Congratulations to Autumn for winning the
Ladder Award and making a difference in the
Jonesboro community.
